qurban organization was carried out in three different regions in Uganda. The cows were slaughtered in Kampala and in two areas close to Kampala. On the first day of Eid, the qurban meats were distributed to around 5,400 Muslim families.
On the second day of the Eid, the qurban meats were distributed to around 7,800 Muslim families in need near Kampala.
On the third day of the Eid, the qurbans were distributed to around 11,700 families in need in the Sembabule area near Kampala.
The representatives of Care in Uganda who organized for the distribution of qurbans very well assigned the mosque community or imams by earlier notificiation rather than distributing the qurbans at once. Officials came with lists they had prepared and took as much qurban meats as it was needed in that village or area and distributed them there.
